Sur l'emplacement d'une chapelle devenue trop petite, la construction de l'église actuelle fut terminée en 1416. De l'édifice du 12e siècle subsisteraient une partie des fondations, du mur goutterot septentrional et le portail ouest. Des chapelles furent aménagées entre les contreforts aux 15e et 16e siècles. A cette époque, réfection du voûtement du choeur et de la travée le précédant, et réalisation du portail nord. Clocher pentagonal imitant sans doute celui des Jacobins de Toulouse. Les motifs décoratifs (gargouilles, fleurons) sont en partie détruits. Les deux portails ont des chapiteaux de style roman. Le portail nord semble le plus ancien. Peintures murales des 15e (Jugement dernier) et 16e (Saint-Jean-Baptiste) siècles. L'église fait partie de la série des édifices gothiques en brique, répandus dans le Toulousain.

History
On the site of a chapel that had become too small, the construction of the present church was completed in 1416. Of the 12th-century building, a part of the foundations, of the northern gutter wall and the west portal would remain. Chapels were arranged between the buttresses in the 15th and 16th centuries. At this period, repair of the vaulting of the choir and the bay preceding it, and construction of the north portal. Pentagonal bell tower probably imitating that of the Jacobins of Toulouse. The decorative motifs (gargoyles, finials) are partly destroyed. The two portals have capitals in Romanesque style. The north portal appears to be the oldest. Mural paintings from the 15th (Last Judgment) and 16th (Saint John the Baptist) centuries. The church is part of the series of Gothic brick buildings, widespread in the Toulousain region.
