Fondée en 855, l'abbaye est rattachée à Cluny à la fin du 10e siècle. Vers 1040, les moines agrandissent l'église abbatiale. History
Founded in 855, the abbey is attached to Cluny at the end of the 10th century. Around 1040, the monks enlarge the abbey church. From this period date significant Romanesque remains buried in the garden, as well as the former bell tower (spiral staircase tower and Romanesque window), formerly attached to the north transept, now integrated into the abbot's palace. In the 14th century, construction of lateral chapels and enlargement of the church towards the west. In 1744, reconstruction of the monastic buildings with the addition of an abbot's palace, by François Franque, architect to the King.
