Historique
Château fortifié d'origine médiévale et modifié au 16e siècle. Ce château est formé d'un corps de logis rectangulaire possédant, au nord, une courte aile en décrochement sur la moitié Est, et flanqué d'une tour circulaire à chacun des angles sud-ouest et nord-ouest. La façade du midi s'ouvre au rez-de-chaussée par un portail chanfreiné à l'arc surbaissé. L'édifice conserve des hourds et des mâchicoulis en bois, exemple assez rare de ces ouvrages aujourd'hui disparus. A l'intérieur sont conservées quelques belles cheminées ; les pièces de l'habitation sont couvertes de plafonds à poutres et poutrelles.

History
Fortified castle of medieval origin and modified in the 16th century. This castle consists of a rectangular main dwelling with, to the north, a short wing set back on the eastern half, and flanked by a circular tower at each of the south-west and north-west angles. The southern façade opens on the ground floor through a chamfered portal with a depressed arch. The building retains wooden hoardings and machicolations, a fairly rare example of these structures which have largely disappeared today. Inside are preserved some fine fireplaces; the rooms of the dwelling are covered with ceilings with beams and joists.
