Historique
La maison Bertrandy, du nom des premiers propriétaires, vieille famille de notables, fut reconstruite en 1700. Plusieurs éléments architecturaux attestent cependant l'existence d'une demeure plus ancienne située sur cet emplacement. L'intérieur de la maison a préservé des parties de décors évoquant chaque étape de son développement. On note la présence d'arcs et de chambranles de portes romans et gothiques dans les caves. L'escalier est en vis avec une base à moulures prismatiques. Il comporte également des niches d'éclairage et est revêtu d'un badigeon traité en faux appareil. Le rez-de-chaussée renferme une cheminée monumentale médiévale en pierre à piédroits et manteau moulurés. Le salon lambrissé se distingue par ses placards de hauteur, sa cheminée et dessus en stuc. Enfin, une petite chambre d'angle à lambris d'appui vient clore cet inventaire. Au premier étage, se trouvent une porte cloutée, un salon à cheminée en bois, une peinture du 18ème siècle ainsi qu'un parquet rustique. La charpente, très soignée, est agrémentée de poinçons pendants à tête moulurée.

History
The Bertrandy house, named after its first owners, an old family of notables, was rebuilt in 1700. Several architectural elements nevertheless attest to the existence of an older dwelling situated on this site. The interior of the house has preserved parts of decoration evoking each stage of its development. Note is made of the presence of arches and door surrounds of Romanesque and Gothic style in the cellars. The staircase is a circular stair with a base of prismatic mouldings. It also includes lighting niches and is covered with render treated as false ashlar. The ground floor contains a monumental medieval stone fireplace with moulded jambs and mantel. The panelled salon is distinguished by its tall cupboards, its fireplace and stucco surround. Finally, a small corner room with wainscot dado closes this inventory. On the first floor are found a studded door, a salon with wooden fireplace, an 18th-century painting and rustic parquet. The roof structure, very carefully wrought, is embellished with hanging struts with moulded heads.
