Historique
Petit manoir du 15e siècle présentant un corps de logis rectangulaire flanqué d'une tour ronde et d'une tour carrée au centre des façades nord et sud. Sont visibles d'anciennes baies encadrées de moulures prismatiques. L'entrée se fait au rez-de-chaussée par une porte dont l'encadrement est orné de deux moulures prismatiques et dont l'arc brisé inscrit un tympan sculpté en relief d'un écu présentant un croissant et une tour. Les décors du château sont d'intéressants témoignages des aménagements intérieurs cantaliens du 17e siècle. Les appartements sont ornés de peintures à fresques représentant des scènes de l'Ancien Testament, de l'Evangile et de la vie des Saints, ainsi que des boiseries sculptées. Dans la grande salle du rez-de-chaussée, plafond à la française avec un décor peint de fleurs et de rinceaux ornant poutres et solives.

History
Small manor of the 15th century presenting a rectangular main dwelling flanked by a round tower and a square tower at the center of the north and south façades. Visible are old openings framed by prismatic mouldings. The entrance is at ground level by a door whose frame is ornamented with two prismatic mouldings and whose broken arch inscribes a tympanum sculpted in relief with a coat of arms presenting a crescent and a tower. The decorations of the castle are interesting testimonies to the interior arrangements of 17th-century Cantal. The apartments are adorned with fresco paintings representing scenes from the Old Testament, the Gospel and the lives of the Saints, as well as sculpted woodwork. In the great hall at ground level, a French-style ceiling with painted decoration of flowers and scrolls ornamenting the beams and joists.
