Historique
Eglise de la fin du 12e siècle, à laquelle furent ajoutées au 16e siècle les chapelles de la troisième travée de la nef. Le second étage du clocher et le petit porche sont de la même époque. L'édifice est entièrement voûté en berceau. L'abside a la particularité d'être à cinq pans intérieurement et à sept pans extérieurement. La corniche possède encore tous ses corbeaux sculptés de sujets profanes, volontairement détruits dans les autres édifices. Les pentures de la porte sont anciennes. Elles se terminent par des têtes de chiens et portent sur les plats des ornements gravés. Le clocher carré, ajouré sur ses quatre faces, repose directement sur le choeur. Ce monument est un bon exemple d'église rurale de la Haute Auvergne, d'aspect archaïque.

History
Church of the late 12th century, to which were added in the 16th century the chapels of the third bay of the nave. The second storey of the bell tower and the small porch are from the same period. The building is entirely vaulted in barrel vault. The apse has the particularity of being five-sided on the interior and seven-sided on the exterior. The cornice still possesses all its corbels carved with secular subjects, deliberately destroyed in other buildings. The door hinges are ancient. They terminate in dog heads and bear engraved ornaments on their flats. The square bell tower, openworked on its four faces, rests directly on the choir. This monument is a good example of a rural church of the Haute Auvergne, of archaic aspect.
