History
Church mentioned in 1131, the date on which it was given to the abbey of Moissac. The relics of Saint Anastasia and Saint Loup were venerated there. The building is formed of a nave with three bays, the two last of which are flanked by lateral chapels, and a Romanesque choir, trefoil internally and with a flat chevet on the exterior. The chapels of the second bay are modern copies of the two 15th-century chapels flanking the bay preceding the choir. On the exterior, the flat wall of the chevet presents an arcading whose five round arches have their springings on small columns with capitals sculpted with masks, elongated leaves, crosiers or are roughly dressed.
