Historique
Socle cubique à sa partie inférieure, puis en forme de tronc de pyramide aux angles abattus, sur lequel est dressé le fût de la croix. Le fût octogonal a sa base moulurée d'un bandeau surmonté d'un tore dont il est séparé par une gorge. Une croix surmonte le fût, présentant, au-dessus d'une base octogonale, un montant cylindrique. A la partie inférieure du montant sont représentés latéralement, debout sur la base octogonale, deux personnages en haut-relief représentant vraisemblablement la Vierge et saint Jean. Sur la face sud-est est sculptée en ronde-bosse la Vierge tenant l'Enfant. Sur la face opposée, le Christ crucifié avec l'inscription INRI au-dessus. A l'extrémité supérieure du montant et à chacune des extrémités des bras font saillie quatre feuilles plissées s'épanouissant en palmettes autour de la tranche.

History
Cubic base in its lower part, then in the form of a truncated pyramid with bevelled angles, on which rises the shaft of the cross. The octagonal shaft has its base moulded with a band surmounted by a torus from which it is separated by a gorge. A cross surmounts the shaft, presenting, above an octagonal base, a cylindrical shaft. At the lower part of the shaft are represented laterally, standing on the octagonal base, two figures in high relief representing the Virgin and Saint John. On the south-east face is carved in the round the Virgin holding the Child. On the opposite face, Christ crucified with the inscription INRI above. At the upper extremity of the shaft and at each of the extremities of the arms project four pleated leaves flowering into palmettes around the edge.
