Collège fondé en 1560 par Guillaume Duprat, évêque de Clermont. Cette porte, qui était la porte de la chapelle, fut déplacée et constitue maintenant l'entrée de l'établissement. History
College founded in 1560 by Guillaume Duprat, bishop of Clermont. This door, which was the door of the chapel, was moved and now constitutes the entrance to the establishment. It is a monumental door whose opening is a round arch resting on two jambs. Four Corinthian columns frame it, assembled in pairs. These columns rest on pedestals and support a classical entablature. Two wooden leaves and a fixed semi-circular fanlight inscribed within the archway form the door proper. These leaves are ornamented with raised squares and lozenges, studded with large iron nails.
