Elements of the 13th century in the cellars and on the ground floor. Parts of the 15th century on the piano nobile. The essential part dates from the 16th century, with significant alterations from the 17th century on the upper storeys, notably a domed ceiling in the imperial manner. Some windows have preserved remains of 18th-century joinery. On the first floor, a fireplace of the 15th century from the château of Branzac which was entirely painted. This fireplace owed its decoration to artists brought from Italy by Camille Carracioli, Neapolitan princess, wife of the seigneur of Branzac (1570). The staircase presents landings opening onto the flights by two round arches whose common springing occurs on engaged columns with Doric or Ionic capitals. Each landing is covered by a rib vault whose branches spring in the angles, from a circular key, onto polygonal corbels. English park.
