Chaque extrémité de la croix se termine par une pointe de diamant. Sur la face sud est sculptée une Pietà. La Vierge, vêtue d'une ample robe retombant en lourds plis verticaux, et dont la tête est couverte d'un voile encadrant le visage, tient sur ses genoux le Christ mort, dont le corps a une position oblique. Sur la face nord est sculptée l'effigie du Christ crucifié, dont la tête a disparu.

History
Each end of the cross terminates in a diamond point. On the south face is carved a Pietà. The Virgin, clothed in a full robe falling in heavy vertical folds, and whose head is covered with a veil framing the face, holds on her lap the dead Christ, whose body is in an oblique position. On the north face is carved the effigy of the crucified Christ, whose head has disappeared.
