History

Building of the 15th century consisting of a large rectangular main dwelling flanked at the angles by four round towers with right-angled outworks forming a bastion. At the centre of one facade rises the stair turret. On the opposite face, at the angle, opens an old door defended by a portcullis, former entrance to the dwelling. Behind the door is found a corridor leading to rooms, a spiral staircase and latrines. The ground floor and first floor are occupied by two unequal halls, and small rooms in the towers. The building is surmounted by machicolations with parapet loopholes and crowned by high roof spaces. Windows with mullions and moulded surrounds light the rooms. In the middle of the 19th century, the owner had two corner towers demolished, lowered the high floor of the first floor, divided the large hall into two and modified the crowning of the machicolations.
