Demeure de Mme de La Fayette et de Mme de Sévigné. Suite à l'ordre de "déféodalisation" du château, daté de l'an II de la République, il ne reste du château que le corps de logis, avec la saillie d'une tourelle d'escalier polygonale et celle d'un pavillon rectangulaire. L'intérieur conserve, au premier étage, une salle voûtée d'arêtes. L'oratoire a gardé ses peintures murales du 15e siècle, illustrant des scènes du Jugement dernier. Face à l'entrée est représenté le Père Eternel, de face, mains levées. Sur la droite, les Elus s'acheminent vers la Jérusalem céleste. De l'autre côté, la troupe des damnés est poursuivie par les démons.

History
Residence of Mme de La Fayette and Mme de Sévigné. Following the order of "defeudalisation" of the castle, dated to year II of the Republic, only the main dwelling remains of the castle, with the projection of a polygonal staircase turret and that of a rectangular pavilion. The interior retains, on the first floor, a room vaulted with groin vault. The oratory has retained its 15th-century wall paintings, illustrating scenes of the Last Judgment. Facing the entrance is represented God the Father, full-face, hands raised. On the right, the Elect proceed towards the celestial Jerusalem. On the other side, the crowd of the damned is pursued by demons.
