Terre mentionnée dès le 13e siècle, qui appartint aux Bourbons et fut confisquée en 1523 par François Ier. La famille Du Peschin fait édifier un château, quadrilatère-trapèze flanqué à ses angles de quatre tours qui furent ensuite plus ou moins amputées ou décapitées. Seul le donjon est à peu près intact (actuelle tour sud). A l'origine, le château était entouré de fossés qui auraient ensuite été remplacés par une enceinte fortifiée de trois tours. Le château se compose de deux parties distinctes : l'habitation constituée d'un pavillon central (réception, billard) , flanquée au sud de l'ancien donjon et au sud-ouest d'un pavillon récent. Une portion de tour relie l'habitation aux communs, vaste bâtiment à rez-de-chaussée et étage, flanqué au nord et à l'est de deux tours dont la première est décollée du reste du bâtiment.

History
Land mentioned from the 13th century, which belonged to the Bourbons and was confiscated in 1523 by François I. The Du Peschin family had a castle built, a quadrilateral-trapezium flanked at its angles by four towers which were subsequently more or less amputated or beheaded. Only the keep is more or less intact (current south tower). Originally, the castle was surrounded by moats which are said to have subsequently been replaced by a fortified enclosure of three towers. A portion of tower links the dwelling to the outbuildings, a vast building with ground floor and storey, flanked to the north and east by two towers, the first of which is detached from the rest of the building.
