Historique
Prieuré qui relevait de l'abbaye de Souvigny. Eglise construite du 10e au 11e siècle, remaniée et agrandie au 12e. Les murs de la nef et les transepts appartiennent à la première époque ; les piliers de la nef, les voûtes, les travées au-delà des transepts, les absidiolees appartiennent à la seconde. Le transept sud a été en partie reconstruit au 15e siècle. Les murs de la nef sont ornés de peintures du 15e siècle. Au 17e siècle, les absides ont été surélevées d'une maçonnerie pour les couvrir d'une toiture à deux versants. L'extérieur du chevet est orné de sculpture sur les corniches, les bandeaux, les archivoltes et les chapiteaux des colonnes des absidioles. Le clocher est moderne.

History
Priory which was subject to the abbey of Souvigny. Church built from the 10th to the 11th century, modified and enlarged in the 12th. The walls of the nave and the transepts belong to the first period; the pillars of the nave, the vaults, the bays beyond the transepts, the absidioles belong to the second. The south transept was partly rebuilt in the 15th century. The walls of the nave are ornamented with paintings of the 15th century. In the 17th century, the apses were heightened with masonry to cover them with a roof of two slopes. The exterior of the chevet is ornamented with sculpture on the cornices, the bands, the archivolts and the capitals of the columns of the absidioles. The bell tower is modern.
