Historique
Eglise d'époque romane pour les deux premières travées de la nef, la travée sous le clocher, le choeur, les bas-côtés nord ; du 14e siècle pour le clocher ; du 16e siècle pour la chapelle sud. La deuxième travée devait former le choeur de l'église primitive. Des chapiteaux ont leurs corbeilles ornées de quadrupèdes, de masques humains ou animaliers surmontant des sortes de silhouettes faites de deux triangles, de croix, de fleurs de lys... L'abside en hémicycle comporte un cul-de-four. Le clocher comporte un massif carré d'époque romane relié par des glacis d'angle à un étage octogone du 14e siècle, percé sur chaque face d'une fenêtre à deux baies géminées surmontées d'un quatrefeuille sous un cordon d'archivolte, de tracé brisé, reçu sur culots. Edifice mi-auvergnat, mi-bourbonnais.

Church of Romanesque period for the first two bays of the nave, the bay under the bell tower, the choir, the north aisles; of the 14th century for the bell tower; of the 16th century for the south chapel. The second bay must have formed the choir of the primitive church. Capitals have their baskets ornamented with quadrupeds, human or animal masks surmounting sorts of silhouettes made of two triangles, crosses, fleurs-de-lis... The semicircular apse comprises a half-dome. The bell tower comprises a square mass of Romanesque period linked by corner glacis to an octagonal storey of the 14th century, pierced on each face by a window with two geminate bays surmounted by a quatrefoil under a cordon of archivolt, of pointed outline, received on corbels. Building half-Auvergnat, half-Bourbonnais.
