Historique

History
Romanesque church in the form of a Latin cross, with a nave of two bays and a choir with a flat chevet opening onto lateral chapels added subsequently. The broken barrel vault of the nave is supported by a double arch resting on engaged columns with drum-like voussoirs, by means of capitals with corbels sculpted with foliage crockets. The western façade presents a portal with a threshold preceded by two steps, whose round-arch arch is decorated with a roll resting on small columns garnishing the jambs by means of foliage capitals. This façade terminates in the form of a gable surmounted by a stone cross with curved branches. On the north transept rises the square bell tower, in two storeys marked by projecting strings. An octagonal stone spire terminates the bell tower whose upper storey is crowned with a cornice hollowed with a cavetto, resting on a row of modillions decorated with masks, foliages or rough carvings.
