History
Building belonging to the former quarter of bargemen whose alleys lead out onto the quays of the Allier. The facade on the rue de l'Eperon opened on the ground floor by a door with uprights decorated with pilasters, whose Doric capitals support an entablature with a projecting cornice. The facade on the rue Mathé was subsequently ordered by rectangular windows framed by a band and with sills likewise underlined by a continuous band across the facade. Brick facade, with stone facings in limestone (16th century) or in sandstone.
