Cette élégante maison bourgeoise a été restaurée autour de 1910 par Léonie Duchet (1849-1931), garde des collections puis vice-présidente des Amis de Montluçon et grande bienfaitrice du patrimoine bourbonnais, avec l’actif concours de son propriétaire Émile Zèle (1862-1934), dessinateur à la Compagnie du chemin de fer d’Orléans, professeur de dessin, collectionneur et archéologue amateur, garde des collections des Amis de Montluçon [Bull. des Amis de Montluçon, 2e s., n° 20, 1934, p. 31]. Elle a appartenu dans la seconde moitié du 20e siècle à André Guy (1913-2008), historien, érudit et collectionneur reconnu, président des Amis de Montluçon de 1950 à 1993. Maison à façade en pans de bois à croix de Saint-André de la fin du 15e ou du début du 16e siècle. Poteaux et consoles moulurés ; petite porte de bois reconstituée à l’aide de fragments anciens appartenant à la maison, et surmontée d’une accolade fleuronnée. [P. This elegant bourgeois house was restored around 1910 by Léonie Duchet (1849-1931), keeper of collections then vice-president of the Amis de Montluçon and great benefactress of Bourbonnais heritage, with the active cooperation of its owner Émile Zèle (1862-1934), draughtsman for the Orléans Railway Company, drawing teacher, collector and amateur archaeologist, keeper of collections of the Amis de Montluçon [Bull. des Amis de Montluçon, 2nd ser., no. 20, 1934, p. 31]. It belonged in the second half of the 20th century to André Guy (1913-2008), historian, scholar and recognized collector, president of the Amis de Montluçon from 1950 to 1993. House with a timber-framed facade with Saint-Andrew's cross from the late 15th or early 16th century. Moulded posts and consoles; small wooden door reconstituted using ancient fragments belonging to the house, and surmounted by a fleuronned ogival arch. [P.
