Donjon du 14e ou 15e siècle, représentant le seul vestige du prieuré de la Ferté-Hauterive. Le reste des bâtiments remonte au 19e siècle. Le donjon présente une base rectangulaire dont la façade nord a conservé, dans sa partie supérieure, des témoignages de l'ancienne destination défensive (deux bretêches en brique reposant sur des corbeaux moulurés). Le couronnement du donjon a conservé dans son intégralité le dispositif défensif composé de hourds à pans de bois en surplomb.

History
Keep-tower of the 14th or 15th century, representing the only vestige of the priory of la Ferté-Hauterive. The remainder of the buildings dates from the 19th century. The keep presents a rectangular base whose north facade has retained, in its upper part, evidence of the former defensive purpose (two brick bretêches resting on moulded corbels). The crowning of the keep has retained in its entirety the defensive arrangement composed of timber-framed hourds in overhang.
