Le donjon est le seul témoignage de l'ancien château du 16e siècle, profondément remanié au 19e siècle. History
The keep is the only testimony of the former 16th century château, profoundly altered in the 19th century. The building rises on an approximately square base, and is flanked by a cylindrical tower containing a spiral staircase. On the ground floor, opening of a passage vaulted with a round arch which crosses the building from east to west. The three other levels are represented by mullioned windows. It was in this château that was born, on 15 January 1526, the grandfather of Turenne.
