Historique
Edifice du milieu du 12e siècle, composé d'une nef avec transept se terminant par une abside et deux absidioles formant chapelle. La flèche en pierre surmontant le clocher a été détruite dans sa partie haute à la fin du 18e siècle. L'église se trouve en un lieu où se déroula un important fait d'armes pendant les guerres de Religion dans le Bourbonnais, le 6 janvier 1588, suite auquel le château et l'église auraient été brûlés par les Protestants.

History
Building of the mid-12th century, composed of a nave with transept terminating in an apse and two absidioles forming a chapel. The stone spire surmounting the bell tower was destroyed in its upper part at the end of the 18th century. The church stands in a place where an important feat of arms took place during the Wars of Religion in the Bourbonnais, on 6 January 1588, following which the château and the church are said to have been burned by the Protestants.
