Historique
Le château fut pris par les Anglais au cours de la guerre de Cent ans, et repris en 1365. Reconstruit au 15e siècle, il fut agrandi au 17e. Les bâtiments qui subsistent se regroupent autour d'une cour rectangulaire présentant deux niveaux différents. Les plus anciens comprennent le donjon et sa tourelle d'escalier ainsi que deux tours rondes. Le bâtiment du 15e siècle comprend au premier étage une grande salle voûtée en arête sur fortes nervures et une cheminée en pierre. L'escalier qui donne accès aux étages est à vis et avec marches en pierre tracées sur un diamètre assez grand, une petite tourelle d'angle reposant sur un joli cul-de-lampe le continue par des degrés plus étroits.

History
The château was taken by the English during the Hundred Years War, and retaken in 1365. Rebuilt in the 15th century, it was enlarged in the 17th. The buildings which remain regroup around a rectangular courtyard presenting two different levels. The oldest comprise the keep and its staircase turret as well as two round towers. The 15th-century building comprises on the first floor a great hall vaulted in rib with strong ribs and a stone fireplace. The staircase which gives access to the floors is spiral and with stone steps traced on a fairly large diameter, a small corner turret resting on a fine corbel continues it by narrower steps.
