Historique
Eglise romane de village datant en partie du 12e siècle. L'église était possédée avant le 9e siècle par l'abbaye de Saint-Denis, à laquelle Charlemagne la restitua en 802. Perdue de nouveau par l'abbaye, elle lui fut rendue une seconde fois, au 11e siècle, comme dépendance du prieuré de la Chapelaude. Au 12e siècle, elle passe au diocèse de Bourges. De l'édifice du 12e siècle subsiste le choeur à chevet plat, voûté en berceau et percé d'une fenêtre sur chacune de ses trois faces. La croisée du transept qui précède le choeur est couverte d'une coupole sur trompes. Le croisillon sud est voûté en berceau. Le croisillon nord a été reconstruit au 15e siècle. Le clocher possède une forme caractéristique du Bourbonnais.

History
Romanesque village church dating in part from the 12th century. The church was possessed before the 9th century by the abbey of Saint-Denis, to which Charlemagne restored it in 802. Lost again by the abbey, it was returned to it a second time, in the 11th century, as a dependency of the priory of the Chapelaude. In the 12th century, it passes to the diocese of Bourges. From the edifice of the 12th century subsists the choir with a flat chevet, vaulted in barrel and pierced by a window on each of its three faces. The transept crossing which precedes the choir is covered with a dome on squinches. The south transept arm is vaulted in barrel. The north transept arm was rebuilt in the 15th century. The bell tower possesses a form characteristic of the Bourbonnais.
