Une importante campagne de travaux permit au 18e siècle de réunir au gros donjon carré des 14e-15e siècles un long bâtiment englobant l'ancien logis à tourelle dont il était séparé. Le donjon a conservé l'essentiel de ses dispositions et de son décor. Le nouveau logis fut doté de larges ouvertures et de décors intérieurs dignes d'une demeure de plaisance. Parc à l'anglaise aménagé dans l'ancienne enceinte, agrémenté de plantations, pièces d'eau, portails en pierre et ferronnerie et communs.

History
Example of a medieval construction enlarged in the classical period. An important campaign of works in the 18th century made it possible to join to the large square keep of the 14th-15th centuries a long building encompassing the old main dwelling with turret from which it was separated. The keep retained the essentials of its arrangements and decoration. The new main dwelling was furnished with large openings and interior decoration worthy of a pleasure residence.
