L'ancien château était composé d'une tour ronde médiévale desservie par une tourelle d'escalier gothique du 15e siècle, complétées aux 17e et 18e siècles par un logis et une chapelle. En 1862, Jean Moreau y exécuta d'importants travaux d'agrandissement. Les bâtiments de cette période furent abattus et remplacés par un logis rectangulaire et une poterie, l'ensemble entouré de douves. Les intérieurs ont été dotés de décors de lambris, cheminée et plafond de même style.

History
The old castle was composed of a medieval round tower served by a Gothic spiral staircase of the 15th century, completed in the 17th and 18th centuries by a main dwelling and a chapel. In 1862, Jean Moreau executed important enlargement work there. The buildings of this period were demolished and replaced by a rectangular main dwelling and a pottery, the whole surrounded by moats. The interiors were fitted with wainscoting, fireplace and ceiling of the same style.
