Il est à noter que les matériaux utilisés ainsi que le décor sculpté intérieur sont analogues à ceux utilisés à la Chartreuse de Bonnefoy dont dépendait la paroisse. La maison forte adopte le plan rectangulaire caractéristique de ce type d'architecture. Elle est flanquée, sur sa façade ouest, d'une tourelle d'escalier demi hors-oeuvre. Une cour ceinte d'un mur et fermée par un portail s'étend devant cette façade. A l'intérieur, l'espace est divisé sur chaque niveau en deux pièces principales. L'édifice contient deux grandes cheminées du 17e.

History
Château of the 17th century, no doubt built on older foundations. It is to be noted that the materials used as well as the interior carved decoration are analogous to those used at the Chartreuse of Bonnefoy on which the parish depended. The stronghouse adopts the rectangular plan characteristic of this type of architecture. It is flanked, on its west façade, by a half-projecting staircase turret. A courtyard enclosed by a wall and closed by a gateway extends before this façade. Inside, the space is divided on each level into two main rooms. The edifice contains two large chimneys of the 17th century.
