Construction médiévale dotée d'un important système de fortifications (tours, douves, enceintes successives...). Restauré au début du 20e siècle par l'architecte Moreau (toitures, ouvertures plus vastes, décors intérieurs) , le château conserve des pièces au décor 18e siècle. Première mention de la chapelle en 1062. Du bâtiment d'origine (11e ou 12e siècle) , il ne reste que le choeur. Des chapelles ont été ajoutées au 15e siècle ; la nef et la façade nord ont été reconstruites au 19e siècle ; les vitraux est sont datés de 1857.

History
Medieval construction endowed with an important system of fortifications (towers, moats, successive enclosures...). Restored in the early 20th century by architect Moreau (roofing, larger openings, interior decoration), the castle preserves rooms with 18th-century decoration. First mention of the chapel in 1062. Of the original building (11th or 12th century), only the choir remains. Chapels were added in the 15th century; the nave and northern façade were rebuilt in the 19th century; the east windows are dated to 1857.
