History
This building of the 18th century may have served as a summer residence for the bishops of Le Puy. The house comprised two storeys above a ground floor, the upper storey being secondary with low small windows. It was composed of two rooms on the ground floor as on the other floors. The interior decorations of this townhouse, dating from the Louis XV period, show how much the art of decoration had developed in Auvergne and Velay by the late 18th century.
