L'église Saint-Vozy s'élevait près de la cathédrale avec les églises dédiées à Saint-Georges et Saint-Agrève. Ces édifices ont été démolis au 18e siècle, au moment de la construction du grand séminaire. Il en reste des substructions importantes qui laissent apparaître un mur latéral et une partie de l'abside servant de mur de soutènement à la cour du séminaire. L'église a été une abbatiale et une collégiale de douze chanoines. Construite à une époque indéterminée sur l'emplacement d'une nécropole antique. Elle fut vendue comme bien national vers 1793 et détruite. La crypte semble avoir été préservée, et les corps des six premiers évêques du Puy y auraient été transférés dans des châsses en bois. Le sol de l'ancienne église sert aujourd'hui de terrain au grand séminaire, sans aucune construction. La face méridionale marquant une dénivellation de quatre mètres par rapport au sol de l'église, cette différence fut utilisée pour la crypte. Présentant une abside pentagonale sur les deux faces, l'église présentait une nef de trois travées.

History
The church of Saint-Vozy stood near the cathedral with the churches dedicated to Saint-Georges and Saint-Agrève. These buildings were demolished in the 18th century, at the time of the construction of the grand seminary. There remain important substructures which reveal a lateral wall and part of the apse serving as a retaining wall to the seminary courtyard. The church was an abbatial and a collegiate church of twelve canons. Built at an indeterminate period on the site of an ancient necropolis. It was sold as national property around 1793 and destroyed. The crypt appears to have been preserved, and the bodies of the first six bishops of Le Puy are said to have been transferred there in wooden reliquaries. The floor of the former church now serves as ground for the grand seminary, without any construction. The southern face showing a difference in level of four metres compared to the floor of the church, this difference was used for the crypt. Presenting a pentagonal apse on both faces, the church had a nave of three bays.
