Historique
Villa édifiée entre 1827 et 1840, de style néo palladien, à l'emplacement d'une villa gallo-romaine dont il subsiste quelques fragments dans le parc. L'édifice comprend un bâtiment rectangulaire à deux niveaux élevés. La partie centrale est animée par deux ordres superposés encadrant au rez-de-chaussée une porte en plein cintre et à l'étage une baie identique, surmontés d'un fronton circulaire. Le bâtiment se prolonge de part et d'autre par des communs regroupant les logements de domestiques et la ferme. En retour s'élève un hangar à hautes colonnes. L'austérité extérieure de l'ensemble est compensée par la richesse du décor intérieur, en particulier le hall d'entrée et la cage d'escalier, le grand salon et la salle à manger avec revêtements de sol, gypseries et vitraux. Le style début 19e se mêle à des décors néo-gothiques (voussures du vestibule et de l'escalier) et à l'apport plus tardif du salon, typique du style Napoléon III.

History
Villa built between 1827 and 1840, in neo-Palladian style, on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa of which some fragments remain in the park. The building comprises a rectangular structure with two storeys. The central part is animated by two superimposed orders framing at ground level a round arch door and at the upper level an identical opening, surmounted by a circular pediment. The building extends on either side with outbuildings grouping the servants' quarters and the farm. In return rises a hangar with high columns. The austere exterior of the whole is compensated by the richness of the interior decoration, particularly the entrance hall and the stairwell, the great room and the dining room with floor coverings, plasterwork and stained glass. Early 19th century style is mingled with neo-Gothic decoration (voussoirs of the vestibule and staircase) and the later contribution of the room, typical of Napoleon III style.
