Cette croix a été érigée en 1587, lors d'une épidémie de peste, par les soins de messire Montvert, curé de Bas. L'oratoire fut détruit vers 1750, et la croix fut transportée au cimetière de Bas. Cette croix du type écoté est ornée, aux extrémités, de fleurons en choux frisés avec une statuette du Christ. Le fût tronconique est surmonté d'un chapiteau qui fait corps avec lui. History
This cross was erected in 1587, during an epidemic of plague, through the care of messire Montvert, curate of Bas. The oratory was destroyed around 1750, and the cross was transported to the cemetery of Bas. This cross of the écoté type is ornamented, at the extremities, with fleurons of curled cabbage with a statuette of Christ. The truncated-cone shaft is surmounted by a capital which is integral with it. On the shaft above the base is a statuette of Saint-Roch with his dog.
