Le château du 15e siècle aurait pris la place d'un oppidum. Les seigneurs de Rochebaron édifièrent certainement la majeure partie du château, qu'ils perdirent en 1419. History
The castle of the 15th century would appear to have replaced an oppidum. The lords of Rochebaron certainly built the greater part of the castle, which they lost in 1419. The edifice appears to have been little inhabited since the beginning of the 17th century. At the Revolution, a fire ruined the chapel. Some buildings survive: the prisoners' tower, the entrance building, the chapel on the southern façade and the triangular tower.
