Cet édifice, reconstruit de 1899 à 1902, conserve un clocher-porche du 15e siècle exemplaire de cette région du Livradois : tour carrée, massive, épaulée par d'énormes contreforts angulaires à ressauts larmiers et chaperon en bâtière. Le portail à voussures et ébrasements garnis de niches (culots en coquilles servant de support autrefois pour des statues) est amorti par un gâble en accolade et des pinacles ornés de choux frisés. L'église primitive se composait, outre le clocher, d'un collatéral nord, d'une nef à deux chapelles latérales au sud, d'un choeur carré ouvrant sur une abside polygonale. £L'agrandissement de Barthélémy Sauzet reprend les modèles traditionnels de la région : piliers, chapiteaux, voûtes et remplages des baies. History
This building, reconstructed from 1899 to 1902, preserves an exemplary 15th-century porch tower of this region of Livradois: a square, massive tower, buttressed by enormous angular buttresses with stepped weatherings and pitched roof cap. The portal with voussoirs and splays furnished with niches (shell corbels formerly serving as support for statues) is terminated by a shouldered gable and pinnacles ornamented with curly cabbage foliage. The primitive church comprised, besides the bell tower, a northern aisle, a nave with two lateral chapels to the south, a square choir opening onto a polygonal apse. The enlargement by Barthélémy Sauzet takes up the traditional models of the region: pillars, capitals, vaults and tracery of the openings. All of the windows are furnished with stained glass signed by Francis Grand and Baratte.
