This building, which otherwise presents little architectural interest, houses a fine staircase with wrought iron balustrade. At each floor, there is a main landing resting on a groin vault decorated in its upper part with a decorative motif in relief (small flowers and shell collars). At the start, the wrought iron balustrade winds around a central bar surmounted by an ornate motif. From this start to the landing of the third floor, the balustrade is formed of two motifs that repeat alternately. The main asymmetrical motif is formed of scrolls, curves, interlacing, on each side of a horizontal axis and around a central motif in the form of a circle. It repeats at each landing, retaining its straight form. A narrow panel whose scrolls are symmetrical with respect to a vertical axis separates each of these main motifs. The scrolls of the central panel of the balustrade at the third-floor landing recall those of the main motif repeated over the entire course of the staircase, but with perfect symmetry.
