Historique
Château remontant au 14e siècle, partiellement transformé sous Louis XIII. La masse du plan, de forme quadrangulaire, flanquée de trois tours rondes et d'une échauguette, avec donjon carré, date du 14e siècle. Un chemin de ronde surmonte les courtines reliant ces tours. Sous Louis XIII, des façades ont été percées d'ouvertures rectangulaires subdivisées par des meneaux. A l'est, a été ajoutée à la même époque une porte d'entrée flanquée de deux colonnes doriques. L'escalier à marches droites, le vieux puits de la cour intérieure et la fontaine située dans un jardin côté sud accusent également l'époque Louis XIII. A l'intérieur, le rez-de-chaussée est voûté. Le premier étage a conservé solivages apparents, portes à panneaux saillants, cheminées en bois sculpté, dessus de porte et panneaux de hottes de cheminées ornés de sujets peints ou de paysages. History
Castle dating back to the 14th century, partially transformed under Louis XIII. The mass of the plan, of quadrangular form, flanked by three round towers and a bartisan, with square keep, dates from the 14th century. A wall-walk surmounts the curtains connecting these towers. Under Louis XIII, facades were pierced with rectangular openings subdivided by mullions. On the east side, an entrance door flanked by two Doric columns was added at the same period. The staircase with straight flights, the old well of the inner courtyard and the fountain situated in a garden on the south side also date from the Louis XIII period. Inside, the ground floor is vaulted. The first floor has retained visible ceiling joists, doors with projecting panels, fireplaces in carved wood, door surrounds and fireplace hood panels decorated with painted subjects or landscapes. The arrangement of the gardens accompanies the building and marks the stage of the 17th century in this art.
