Historique
La façade de l'édifice appartient aux façades riomoises refaites au 18e siècle. Elle présente deux étages et un attique, chaque étage ayant trois fenêtres de façade à linteaux en arc surbaissé. Des appuis en fer forgé d'époque Louis XV ornent les fenêtres du premier étage. Un couloir ouvrant au premier étage conduit jusqu'à l'escalier de l'immeuble ouvrant sur une petite cour intérieure actuellement supprimée. Une ancienne porte dissimulée menant à cette cour porte l'inscription 1598 sur son linteau. Contre une partie de la façade arrière de cette maison s'appuie une construction allongée contenant une large salle de trois travées voûtée d'ogives. Ogives, formerets et doubleaux sont reçus, à chaque séparation de travée et dans chaque angle, sur un faisceau de colonnettes prismatiques par l'intermédiaire d'une large frise chapiteau au décor sculpté de feuillages. Cette salle devait servir de chapelle à une maison religieuse. Un ancien inventaire signale, au-dessus de cette salle, de vestiges de fresques et d 'un arceau du 14e siècle et, au-dessous, de caves d'une époque plus ancienne.

History
The façade of the building belongs to the Riom façades redone in the 18th century. It presents two storeys and an attic, each storey having three façade windows with depressed arch lintels. Wrought iron brackets of the Louis XV period ornament the windows of the first storey. A corridor opening on the first storey leads to the building's staircase opening onto a small interior courtyard now removed. An old hidden door leading to this courtyard bears the inscription 1598 on its lintel. Against part of the rear façade of this house is set a long construction containing a large three-bay hall with rib vault. Ribs, wall ribs and main ribs are received, at each bay separation and in each corner, on a bundle of prismatic columnettes by means of a wide frieze capital with sculptured leafwork decoration. This hall must have served as a chapel to a religious house. An old inventory notes, above this hall, remnants of frescoes and a 14th-century archway and, below, cellars of an earlier period.
