History
This house possesses an interior courtyard decorated with a spiral staircase from the 16th century. On the first outer band of the staircase, two sculptured cartouches hold the entire band. One represents a shield half-defaced held by two griffins, surmounted by a helm topped with a human head and bearing, as crest, an armed hand holding a sword. Behind the crest runs a banner bearing a motto. The other cartouche is formed of a series of interlacing surrounding a medallion.
