Historique
Hôtel du 17e siècle construit par la famille Chazeron. L'édifice se compose de deux parties entourant une petite cour. Le corps de bâtiment le plus ancien, datant du 17e siècle, se trouve au fond de la cour et comporte un corps de logis à trois niveaux desservi par une tour d'escalier renfermant un escalier à mur d'échiffre. Un corps de bâtiment du 18e siècle a été rajouté le long de la rue. Un passage pavé de dalles de Volvic passant sous le corps de logis du 18e siècle, conduit à la cour intérieure. Le côté sud de la cour est occupé par un escalier occupant tout le corps de bâtiment à deux niveaux. A l'intérieur, l'escalier comportait autrefois une rampe en fer forgé dont les différents panneaux étaient séparés par un élément inspiré par les pilastres cannelés d'inspiration néo-classique de la fin du 18e siècle. Son allure générale, sa façade sur rue et ses ferronneries font de cet édifice un bon exemple de l'architecture auvergnate des 17e et 18e siècles.

History
17th-century hotel built by the Chazeron family. The building comprises two parts surrounding a small courtyard. The oldest building section, dating from the 17th century, is found at the back of the courtyard and comprises a main dwelling with three levels served by a stair tower containing a staircase with wall stringer. An 18th-century building section was added along the street. A passage paved with Volvic stone slabs passing under the 18th-century main dwelling leads to the interior courtyard. The south side of the courtyard is occupied by a staircase occupying the entire two-storey building section. Inside, the staircase formerly had a wrought-iron railing whose different panels were separated by an element inspired by fluted pilasters of neo-classical inspiration from the end of the 18th century. Its general appearance, its façade on the street and its ironwork make this building a good example of Auvergne architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries.
