Ancien collège élevé à Riom par les Oratoriens au 17e siècle formant deux corps de bâtiments dont l'un de plan quadrangulaire. Entre les deux corps se trouvait la porte d'entrée principale. Cette ancienne porte, avec son arceau de pierre de taille surmonté d'un fronton, constitue un bon exemple de l'architecture de cette période. Son arc au cintre légèrement surbaissé est encadré de deux pilastres doriques. Le fronton de la porte, en forme de triangle tronqué, est orné d'un cartouche entouré de têtes, de feuillages et de fleurs. Au bas du cartouche est gravée l'année 1662.

History
Former college erected in Riom by the Oratorians in the 17th century forming two bodies of buildings, one of quadrangular plan. Between the two bodies was located the main entrance gate. This old gate, with its stone ashlar archway surmounted by a pediment, constitutes a good example of the architecture of this period. Its arch with slightly depressed curve is framed by two Doric pilasters. The pediment of the gate, in the form of a truncated triangle, is adorned with a cartouche surrounded by heads, foliage and flowers. At the base of the cartouche is engraved the year 1662.
