Il s'agit d'un bâtiment médiéval retouché de 1608 à 1613, avec une façade du 18e siècle. History
This is a medieval building altered from 1608 to 1613, with an 18th-century façade. The courtyard of this building is one of the most interesting courtyards of the late Renaissance in Clermont, and testifies to the elegance achieved by Auvergnat craftsmen in the details of architecture and sculpture at this period (portal with triangular pediment, arch opening onto the passage, window surrounds, cartouches, clasps). Circular corner turret on a concave fan-shaped squinch built with ashlar in fan form. The key of the front arch is decorated with a sort of Bacchus with a beaming face and hair symbolized by vine shoots. This keystone bears the date 1605. It is surmounted by a superb cartouche composed of a convex central mirror, surrounded by interlaced leathers. This mirror is placed on an oriental head with feathers and moustaches, and surmounted by a chubby cherub with curly hair.
