A l'origine simple tour de défense au 13e siècle, le château a été agrandi aux 14e siècle (tours) et au 15e siècle ( réunion de différents corps de bâtiments). Au 18e siècle, le château a été restauré dans le goût de l'époque et le jardin a été aménagé dans le style classique : jardin à la française, mais s'adaptant au site mouvementé et agrémenté d'aménagements tels que labyrinthes, glacières, cascades... Un plan du domaine du 18e siècle est conservé à l'intérieur du château.

History
Originally a simple defensive tower in the 13th century, the castle was enlarged in the 14th century (towers) and in the 15th century (union of different building blocks). In the 18th century, the castle was restored in the taste of the period and the garden was laid out in the classical style: formal garden, but adapted to the uneven site and embellished with features such as labyrinths, ice houses, waterfalls... A plan of the domain from the 18th century is preserved inside the castle.
