Orientée et voûtée d'ogives, l'édifice se compose d'une nef à deux travées séparées par un arc-doubleau, et d'un choeur plus étroit finissant en abside polygonale à trois pans, séparé de la nef par un arc diaphragme. La première travée supportait autrefois un clocher ; elle est de plan carré et épaulée par quatre puissants contreforts. Accolée contre le contrefort sud-ouest subsiste la tourelle polygonale hors-oeuvre contenant l'escalier en vis qui conduisait au clocher. La façade ouest est percée d'un portail central en arc brisé, formé de trois voussures à ressauts reposant sur bases prismatiques sur un soubassement. Les colonnettes engagées des jambages sont formées d'un tore souligné d'un listel. Des coussièges intégrés au soubassement accostent chaque côté de la porte à deux vanteaux. La plate-bande moulurée d'un tore chargé d'un filet aux angles amortis, est surmontée d'un tympan aveugle décoré d'un buste rapporté du Christ. Un oculus en remplage flamboyant surmonte ce portail. £A l'intérieur, les ogives du choeur formant quartiers rayonnants possèdent une clef de voûte quadrilobée chargée d'un écu. Les nervures retombent sur des colonnettes engagées dans les angles de la partie droite du choeur, par l'intermédiaire de chapiteaux prismatiques ou décorés de feuillages. ££L'origine de cette église remonte peut-être à l'époque païenne, une source située tout près pouvant avoir été l'objet d'un culte. Selon la légende, un ermite aurait choisi ce lieu, au 7e ou 8e siècle, pour y édifier un oratoire. La Vierge lui serait alors apparue.

History
Of Roman origin and later rebuilt in the 15th century, the church is characteristic of southern Gothic. Oriented and vaulted with ribs, the building consists of a nave with two bays separated by a double arch, and a narrower choir ending in a polygonal chevet with three sides, separated from the nave by a diaphragm arch. The first bay formerly supported a bell tower; it is of square plan and buttressed by four powerful buttresses. Attached against the south-west buttress remains the polygonal out-of-work turret containing the spiral staircase which led to the bell tower. The west façade is pierced by a central portal in pointed arch, formed of three moulded archivolts resting on prismatic bases on a plinth. The engaged colonettes of the jambs are formed of a torus underlined by a fillet. Cushioned seating integrated into the plinth flanks each side of the two-leaved door. The moulded flat band of a torus charged with a fillet at the mitered angles is surmounted by a blind tympanum decorated with an applied bust of Christ. A flamboyant tracery oculus surmounts this portal. At the interior, the ribs of the choir forming radiating compartments possess a quadrilobed vault keystone charged with a shield. The ribs rest on engaged colonettes in the angles of the straight part of the choir, by means of prismatic capitals or those decorated with foliage. The origin of this church may go back to pagan times, a spring located very near possibly having been the object of worship. According to legend, a hermit would have chosen this place, in the 7th or 8th century, to build an oratory there. The Virgin is said to have appeared to him.
