Les proportions des façades sont bonnes et le bâtiment est bien intégré à la place avec, en retour, la façade du 18e siècle de la chapelle du collège Jules-Simon. History
The town hall of Vannes is a good example of public buildings constructed under the Third Republic. Begun in 1880, it was inaugurated on 11 July 1886. The plans were conceived by the Vannes architect Armand Charier. The proportions of the façades are good and the building is well integrated into the square with, as a return, the 18th-century façade of the chapel of the Jules-Simon college.
