Inscrit en partie depuis 1933, le manoir de Le May (Le Mée ou Lemais) s'en allait en ruine et servait de débarras à la ferme voisine. L'acquisition de cet édifice par le SIVOM du canton de Saint-Jean-Brévelay et son classement, ont permis de sauver ce manoir qui date de la seconde Renaissance, vers 1570. Il est constitué d'un pavillon de trois étages abritant l'escalier, d'un bâtiment en équerre et d'une aile faisant pendant à la tour d'escalier. Logis du seigneur de la paroisse, il relevait du fief de Porhoët.

History
Registered in part since 1933, the manor of Le May (Le Mée or Lemais) was falling into ruin and served as a storage area for the neighbouring farm. The acquisition of this building by the SIVOM of the canton of Saint-Jean-Brévelay and its classification made it possible to save this manor which dates from the second Renaissance, around 1570. It is composed of a three-storey pavilion housing the staircase, a building at right angles and a wing matching the stair tower. The dwelling of the lord of the parish, it fell under the fief of Porhoët.
