Historique
La croix pattée, sur un long fût monolithe, est percée en son centre. Le calvaire a été érigé en 1550. Démantelé sous la Terreur, il a été restauré en 1853. Il se compose d'un piedestal dont les quatre faces sont décorées de bas-reliefs présentant des scènes de la vie du Christ. Six statues se dressent aux angles du monument. Sur le socle, des personnages figurent la montée au calvaire. Le Christ porte sa croix, Sainte-Véronique tient le suaire portant l'image du Christ. Les saintes femmes accompagnées de Saint-Jean suivent. Trois croix dominent le groupe, portant les larrons et le Christ. Au dos du Christ est représentée la Vierge à l'Enfant. Le monument a une hauteur totale de 9m60. History
The patty cross, on a long monolithic shaft, is pierced at its centre. The calvary was erected in 1550. Dismantled during the Terror, it was restored in 1853. It consists of a pedestal whose four faces are decorated with bas-reliefs presenting scenes from the life of Christ. Six statues stand at the angles of the monument. On the base, figures represent the ascent to Calvary. Christ bears his cross, Saint-Véronique holds the sudarium bearing the image of Christ. The holy women accompanied by Saint-John follow. Three crosses dominate the group, bearing the thieves and Christ. On the back of Christ is represented the Virgin and Child. The monument has a total height of 9m60.
