La place Sainte-Anne possède des maisons datant des 16e et 17e siècles, construites en pans de bois, élevées de deux étages sur rez-de-chaussée et surmontées d'un comble. Deux rangées de poutres moulurées soutiennent de longues consoles, sculptées de deux couronnes de feuillage superposées. Deux des consoles se terminent en têtes de chimères et une en tête humaine. History
Sainte-Anne square possesses houses dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, constructed in timber framing, raised two storeys above ground floor and topped with a roof space. Some timber framing is ornamented with sculptures. Former house of the White Sheep, no. 19 belonged in 1627 to the Dominicans. During the Revolution, the ground floor was occupied by the shop of the tailor Leperdit, mayor of Rennes during the Terror. Two rows of moulded beams support long consoles, carved with two crowns of foliage superimposed. Two of the consoles terminate in heads of chimeras and one in a human head. A small dragon is seen beneath the last.
