History
While the lordship of Traon-feunteniou is attested from the 15th century, the present building is not earlier than the 18th century. It is a long single-storey building with very sober decoration, probably rebuilt with materials from the old manor, and modified in the 19th century. The gothic dovecote was razed in the early 20th century and the former chapel was replaced by a small oratory without style. The interest of the building is mainly of a historical order: it was the property of Marshal Foch, before being repurchased by the religious sisters who currently occupy it. The religious sisters have maintained in working order the Marshal's study, which is accessible to the public.
