History

The chapel of Saint-Sébastien was built in the 15th century to ward off the plague; it occupies the centre of an enclosure where the structures related to parish life are absent: there is neither ossuary, nor cemetery, nor baptismal font. Of Latin cross plan, the building has preserved the structure of the nave, the choir with flat chevet and the south arm of the transept of the original chapel; the north arm and the north aisle were rebuilt in the 16th century, the south aisle and the wall bell tower in the 17th century, the octagonal sacristy being added in the 18th century.
