Historique
La chapelle du 18e siècle comprend une nef de deux travées avec bas-côtés, un transept à croisillons, un choeur avec une partie droite flanquée de bas-côtés et terminée par une abside en cul-de-four. La nef est voûtée en berceau appareillé avec pénétrations cylindriques. A la croisée du transept, une coupole sphérique est épaulée par les berceaux des transepts. L'ensemble de l'édifice est bâti en granit jusqu'à la naissance des grandes arcades, puis en calcaire. La décoration intérieure se compose de pilastres et d'entablements doriques à triglyphes. A l'extérieur, la façade s'orne des ordres dorique et ionique. History
The chapel of the 18th century comprises a nave of two bays with aisles, a transept with crosspieces, a choir with a straight part flanked by aisles and terminated by an apse with cul-de-four vault. The nave is vaulted with an ashlar barrel vault with cylindrical penetrations. At the crossing of the transept, a spherical dome is supported by the barrel vaults of the transepts. The whole of the edifice is built in granite up to the springing of the large arcades, then in limestone. The interior decoration is composed of pilasters and Doric entablatures with triglyphs. On the exterior, the facade is ornamented with Doric and Ionic orders. The edifice was built according to the plans and drawings of Father Martellange, after the model of the chapel, today destroyed, of the novitiate of the Company which was situated in Paris, rue du Pot-de-Fer.
